Anthony Hopkins models for Loewe fashion campaign at 84
Sir Anthony Hopkins is a supermodel.
The 84-year-old “Westworld” actor is the star of high-fashion brand Loewe’s new pre-fall 2022 campaign, posing in two different looks from the label.
In one of the sunny outdoor shots by photographer Juergen Teller, Hopkins strikes a pose in a logo sweatshirt ($690) paired with black trousers and sneakers.
In the other, he beams in a colorful donut-print T-shirt, and long studded coat, gesturing to one of Loewe’s “Anagram” totes.
“For some fun, today’s gig is modeling,” the Oscar-, BAFTA- and Emmy-winning thespian captioned his Instagram post showing off one of the ads Tuesday, drawing praise from the likes of Lindsay Lohan in the comments.
This isn’t Hopkins’ first fashion campaign; he previously posed for luxury brands including Brioni and Loro Piana.
And the “Silence of the Lambs” star is clearly interested in the style industry, as he runs his own fragrance and candle company and, as he revealed to Vogue in 2020, dresses almost exclusively in Hawaiian shirts from a Maui shop called Jams World.
“I’ve got a collection of maybe 20 of them,” he told the magazine. “They cheer me up.”
Hopkins joins Kaia Gerber, “The Crown” star Josh O’Connor and “The Lost Daughter” actress Jessie Buckley in Loewe’s campaign.
